Following up on the suspension @miller issued to @Mundane_Super_Hero in this thread:

> [Moderating] Per standing SDMB policy, any threats of legal action involving the SDMB are forwarded to Ed Zotti. Mundane Super Hero has been temporarily suspended until Ed has a chance to review the situation. In the mean time, let’s drop the dog macing conversation, and (THIS IS A BIG ONE GUYS!) there will be no further discussion of the legal threats made in this thread. Seriously, we’re talking immediate warning and discussion of posting privileges if you break this one. [/Moderating]

This is a serious, bright line, inta-ban offense per the TOS:

> **Threats.** Threats of any kind against the SDMB, STM, or their affiliates, including without limitation SDMB posters, staff, advertisers or other entities, regardless of where and how expressed, are not permitted. Users making such threats are subject to banning without notice. This includes threats of legal action even if not directed specifically at the SDMB.

We understand that the conversation was heated, as are many in the Pit, but this is not a new poster either. A modloop discussion reviewed the poster’s long history of hostility to other posters and off-board figures, both in and out of the pit, resulting in prior [warnings](https://boards.straightdope.com/t/stupid-gun-news-of-the-day-part-2/958428/1844) and notes. As such, we realize MSH has issues that we are not equipped to handle, and as such @Mundane_Super_Hero is banned effective immediately.
