I have been at the board for a bit now, and I find it interesting how some posters rub certain people the wrong way. I am not speaking about trolls… more regular posters that every time you read a post from them you want to … well maybe strangle is too strong a word. I know I irritate the hell out of a few, coz I have gotten the emails, and I have a few who do the same for me, even tho I try to refrain from replying, sometimes the brat surfaces. Am I the only one who experiences this? Are there certain posts that you would love to say what is really on your mind? * * * I really try to be good but it just isn’t in my nature! ---

I know for a fact I rub people the wrong way…but after they get to know me…they find out I’m the sweetest nicest guy they ever met… ---

My problem is that I usually say exactly how I feel instead of holding back. If someone or something bugs me, I’ll tell them. ## Hey, is anyone wants to rub me the _right_ way, I’m right here. 😉 You turn me on. But maybe it’s because I just spent 20 years in the jungle, getting it on with anything I could attract with a piece of fruit. ---

Rarely, but it has happened. i think I have always let it slide, since it usually is a minor thing that seems even more minor if given a few minutes. I tend to save any irritation up for idiotic trolls. * * * Voted Rookie of the Year in MPSIMs and the Pit, along with Best One-liners. And I don’t plan on keeping this as my sig for long, just until the winning buzz wears off. ---

I guess what usually gets to me, is an arrogant post. One that you read and think, “Wow! this person is really in love with themself.” I think showing self-confidence is a good thing, but to assume that I/we should be honored to be in the presence of such godlike wonder… is beyond my level of patience. Maybe it is not being able to hear the tone of a post… but most of the time, I get the impression these people are really serious and I want to respond sarcastically… then I remember what my Mom taught me and I refrain. One of these days… I will be able to enter the pit and not have my Mom on my shoulder. * * * I really try to be good but it just isn’t in my nature! ---

The ones that get me I guess would classify under the arrogant category. Or, more precisely, instead of simply responding to a topic on hand and giving some sort of analogy or brief life-experience, they write a book about themsleves and get WAY off topic and way too far into their personal lives. I know we all post about our personal lives to a degree here, but some I find just go on and on, sometimes bragging, sometimes seeking pity, whatever. That particular post sort of detaches itself from the thread and says look at me and look at this and forget about the issues originally at hand. Kind of annoying, I’ve learned to mostly skim over them.(Them meaning both those particular posters and those type of posts, you know them when you see them, usually by the second paragraph.) * * * I’ll buy that for a dollar. ---

In my life, which has been very hard, I have come across many posters who have been mean to me and who have hurt my feelings. They don’t understand that I am practically always right. I know this because of the size of my huge bank accounts, trusts, land holdings, stock options and the like. Also, my time spent at the Sorbonne basically gives me automatic precedence over the opinions of most of the rest of you high school dropouts. The people who have posted before me here just have no clue how hard it is to be me. When you have walked a mile in my shoes, then you will understand. It’s not as easy as you think to live with all this wealth, education, admiration, good looks, health and everything else that I have. I just try to be normal. Why are you looking at me like that? * * * “So, for once in my life, let me get what I want. Lord knows, it would be the first time.” ---
