In a spirit of scientific enquiry, last night I tried conversing with my flatmate while saying “over and out” at the end of every sentence. For three sentences it was funny, after two more it was annoying, and after a total of eight he punched me in the cock and stormed out. Resuming this morning, the “time to cockpunch” (or TTCP) was down to two sentences. A hiatus in the study will now ensue for groinal recuperation. ---

If I was half the troll I’ve been suspected of, I’d be seriously disappointed at this point. Does no mention after 3 pages mean I’ve just been overlooked\*, or am I finally being accepted round here? One can only dare to hope! As for posters I can’t stand - I don’t think I’ve been here long enough to make a decision on that. Give me 5 years though, and I reckon I might be able to fill a small post. - I got a “I fucking hate Ivan!” thread dedicated to me in the Pit during Amnesia Weekend, but I reckon that was more a result of the exuberance of having no posting constraints, rather than a genuine hatred. I may well be wrong! ---

His frequent imbecilic posts and questions drive me a little nuts. He is one of the only posters I have ever pitted. He is the Fighting Ignorant as someone posted so well once. **lekatt** recently posted something that did not appear deranged. That was the first time I had seen as much. No one can wreck a Great Debate thread quicker than **lekatt**. **Der Trihs** is not someone I like and he is as shrill as it gets on this board. However he also raises issues that are disturbing and forces me to look at things from the far other side and he is not stupid or ignorant, just disturbing. So he is not on my hate list. I don’t really know the others you listed. * * * In general I don’t get the hatred for **Opal**. She really does not post that often, I suspect maybe it use to be worse? She seems fine to me but I rarely interact with her. As to **PRR** , I do get the hatred but I like the guy. Maybe because like \*\*Der Trihs \*\*he challenges the way I think and I like him as he is a passionate baseball fan even if again we disagree often. Him being a Red Sox fan and Bill James disciple. Weird thing with **Skald the Rhymer** , his schtick got old to me quick and then I came around to enjoying it as an old tired running joke. I am that sappy. In general he is a great guy and I consider him a friend. **Shodan** and **Weird Dave** : I disagree with both more often than not but without persistant right leaning posters brave enough to post on this liberal board without being idiots like Ralph124c Wiggums this board would be much more boring. I really think they are both fine. **Carol Stream** had been nothing but a shrill spiteful snarky bitch but it seems like since the lost weekend she has ratcheted back on her old ways of just snarking and spouting extreme right wing talking points. I don’t interact with her enough to hate her. Finally there is the disingenuous \*\*Brazil84 \*\*whose mission in life appears to be to spread misinformation and he is quite good at it. I used to hate **Opal** for her snippy responses in her own advice-needing threads, but that hilarious pit thread made me love her. I can’t stand **Skald the Rhymer** simply because I have this all-consuming hatred for modern fiction and his writing style tends toward the novelistic. Sorry about that.
