**What Exit?** : I’ve looked at the thread you linked to, and **brazil84** seems to me to be making a perfectly reasonable argument in support of the OP’s contention (that _“Given Mr Gore’s personal total energy consumption, giving him the Nobel is ridiculous.”_) - in fact he virtually echoes what the OP said. If you think that’s a specious argument, that’s fine. But to describe **brazil84** of ‘shifting the debate away from the actual debate’ in that particular thread just doesn’t make sense. ---

But as one example I recall he tried to drive the debate for a long portion of the thread into the silly side piece about the office Al Gore keeps. I won’t rehash the debate here though. Seriously, if you actually care, read his debating style in the numerous Global Warming threads to start. If you don’t think he is devious then we will have to agree to disagree. Jim ---

Even if the thread **What Exit?** linked to isn’t a prime example, \*\*brazil’s \*\*dishonesty is well-known to most people who hang in GD. Debating \*\*brazil84 \*\*is like debating **lekatt** , except that I think \*\*lekatt \*\*is genuinely stupid and can’t help it. \*\*brazil84 \*\*is more likely just dishonest. ---
