Not that I plan to, but at what point will I be allowed to? is it by post count, or behavior, or what? ---

No milestone. That feature is turned off, as far as I know. ---

just asking beacuse it lists what we’re allowed to do, and it say ‘cannot’ next to ‘post attachments’. ---

Actually, it says may not which always makes me laugh. As if it were a politeness thing rather than a permissions thing. ---

I never have done this, I’ve never needed to. I don’t think that ANY of the staff have ever posted an attachment when regular posters are not allowed to. ---

The admins won’t even allow _avatars_ – do you honestly think they’ll ever permit attachments? ---

There are free file hosting sites you can upload files to that are publicly downloadable and then post a link here. For example, [http://www.mediafire.com/](http://www.mediafire.com/) lets you post as many files as you like up to 200mb each without even having to register.
