Just wondering if you guys have done anything with the board. Just recently I have noticed that the quick reply box at the bottom of a thread has not been displaying on my iPhone. It still shows up on my home computer and a number of other VB boards, so I can’t see it being my phone. So what’s the straight dope. Declan ---

Nope, nothing has changed from our end. I don’t have an iPhone to verify whether it shows up, but my guess is that it’s probably the Mobile Safari browser you’re (likely) using on the iPhone. ---

Okay I checked both the howardforums and giraffe boards, and quick reply is showing up in safari on the iphone. As far as I know , both the above forums run the same version of vB board software, but I will post this question in IMHO , to see what the other iphone users are seeing , as well as anyone using a mobile device. Its kinda dumb, but posting from the iphone is a pain in the ass sometimes, and using the quick reply is the least painful way to go about it. Declan ---

In case anyone asks in the future, the quick reply can be minimized so that it does not show up. The user has to scroll down to the bottom, and look for the bluebar that says quick reply and click on the arrow, that will expand the box to what it should be. Thanks for your help Declan ---

Oh, yeah, I had completely forgotten about that. I frequently use the category collapse/expand icon on Invision boards, but it’s not something I use on vBulletin boards. Sorry I didn’t think of that, but I’m glad you found the answer.
