# Posting link to another board allowed?

I skimmed the user agreement, and didn’t find his addressed, yet it seems I recall something about it being mentioned somewhere.

Is it acceptable to provide a link, in a post, to another mesage board?

What I am proposing to link to is a single post (if I can manage that feat of supreme geekery) that contains a list of inaccuracies seemingly present in the Berg video.

On top of the linking to another board question, I don’t want to inflame by stirring up anything about The Video, yet I am curious.

This proposed question would be posted in GQ.

Not a problem, I’m assuming, unless you want to stir a war between the two boards.

Don’t laugh: One of the worst times to be a Doper happened due to a board war instigated by members of the SDMB.

Of course, the reliability of board posts can be called into question.

Derleth is correct.

Of course, you must also be sure the link you wish to display to the board is appropriate for this board; that means no overt links to feelthy websites or anything that might cause trouble at the office, or at home, for that matter.
