# Posting links in my thread...

I was curious to know how to post links here in the forum which have been renamed by me. I mean, I already know that if I simply type in a url like this [http://www.thehungersite.com](http://www.thehungersite.com) it will appear as a link. However, I’d like to know how I would rename this link to “Click here to end world hunger” or something like that, instead of it appearing as a cumbersome cryptic address. Please help as I’m feeling like a dolt here (I’m practically a virgin doper…)

Use the following format:

```auto

[This is way cool!](http://www.mylink.com)

```

For example:

```auto

[The Internet Movie Database](http://us.imdb.com)

```

will give you: [The Internet Movie Database](http://us.imdb.com)
