It seems to me that, if she’s interested in anonymity, a food critic should never use their real name in their column, and perhaps even use a fake picture to throw people off the scent.
Thus, there’s no reason to create a law to protect the anonymity in this situation.
Anonymity for any public discourse. All publicly accessible statements should be traceable to a real human being without too much fuss. Possible exceptions include criminal witnesses and victims, of course, but otherwise, anyone should stand by what they say.
