How about leaving out pronouns when starting a sentence? This really bugs me: “Went to the store and bought broccoli. Chopped the broccoli. Made soup.” I get it that a lot of people are writing/posting from mobile devices, and it makes it oh so much easier to drop the “I,” but to me, it’s just plain irritating to read choppy sentences. You spend so much time texting, write a complete sentence already! ---
