A quick search revealed nothing, and while I recognize that this may have been asked before, I wanted to get this posted before the links expire.

Occasinally, I look of the profile of a newbie, and find some contradictions in the posts-per-day field.

**SoulSearching** signed up today. This poster has, at the moment, 33 posts, and 0.13 posts per day. [Profile](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/member.php?s=&action=getinfo&userid=20554)

**Andygrrl** also signed up today (about two-and-a-half hours after **SoulSearching** ). This poster has, at the moment, 8 posts, and 8 posts per day. [Profile](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/member.php?s=&action=getinfo&userid=27845)

So what’s up with the Board’s math? I’ve seen this happen several times. Sometimes all the posts are listed, sometimes a decimal number is given.

Thanks- and I hope someone with the answer sees this before the numbers change and the evidence is erased.

Um, according to the profile **Soulsearching** signed up on March 25 of this year. That will give the post ratio listed.

Yes indeed… I, uh, just wanted to see if you’d notice. 😉
Crumb.
Well, I’m pretty sure I have seen this before…

Oh, alright.
