Probably not solely - but this regulatory uncertainty on top of the existing recession likely did not help. ---

I first talked about it in Sept of 2009. The bill got delayed in Jan 2011 and has now been overturned. For nearly that entire time sales were stopped. Including the sale of ATVs and Dirtbikes and I believe many different types of helmets and other safety equipment/accessories. I imagine in that span of time there were many many millions of lost dollars, possibly into a billion? Could be but I’m not going to research it. ---
