Barely Moderating: The discussion of the Florida sheriff is tangentially linked in terms of reactions, but isn’t central to the National Guard presence in LA. Let’s not let it become a hijack to this thread, though it’s perfect fodder for our “No Kings” protest thread, where it’s already been linked and not yet had nuance discussed. Here’s something I love seeing: a couple of Mexican-American protesters preventing far left rioter types from burning an American flag. They make it clear: we are here protesting for a better country.
