# Powered USB Hub

I need to power my micro-controller development environment from the USB hub (O scope (2), emulator, ball mouse, maybe USB screen). This requires 4 or more ports and a lot of current. I picked up a powered hub from Walmart years ago and it worked fine until it got intermittent and then failed.

I’ve bought a couple of replacements but the specs are misleading. A powered unit may be a hub with external power on two ports or a couple of charge only ports in addition to the data ports. I need a hub with external power on at least 4 usb ports. Any suggestions?

Note: These units all work individually when plugged into the PC. It’s just that there are too many of them.
