For context, I’m using PowerPoint 2007. I don’t have any programming skills or anything swish like that.

Is it possible to create a ‘mouseover’ event so that when a user hovers over an object on the slide, it will pop up another object, such as a text box?

Two ways. One is to set a “Trigger” animation, which will fire when you mouse over another object. (There will be two tabs: “mouse click” and “mouse over” - choose mouse over)

The other is to set an “action on click” action setting for the mouse over event, but it sounds like a Trigger is what you want, since you have more freedom on what that trigger can do than you would with an action on click.
