[This](http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=6945724039283018435) is probably the reasonable attempt I’ve ever seen to try to describe just how big the universe is, and how small all its part are. If you haven’t seen it, you should.

Cool that it’s online. I used to watch it over and over at the Air & Space Museum. It’s available on DVD. I listed it in the thread asking for good documentaries.

Thanks for that - my dad had the book of it when I was a kid in the Eighties; I never new there was a film of it.

Nice! Thanks for this. I remember seeing this in a community college astronomy course. Been in love with the concept ever since. I have the book, and there was even and online/interactive version going around not too long ago. Let me look for it…

Oh, yes. [Here](http://www.micro.magnet.fsu.edu/primer/java/scienceopticsu/powersof10/) it is. Not as good as the movie though.

[Power of 10 (disambiguation) - Wikipedia](http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Powers_of_Ten) gives the coordinates of the starting point at the upper left corner of the article, which is also a link to a page to display it with various map software. There are at least 3 markers for the point among the various layers in Google Earth.
