Did anyone go to see the [live cinecast of “A Prairie Home Companion”](http://prairiehome.publicradio.org/features/live-in-hd/) last night? I’m planning to go on Tuesday evening to see the encore and am interested in your impressions of the show.

I heard it was $20 to get in to the movie. I used to live 2 blocks from the Fitzgerald Theater andwent to the Friday night dress rehearsal performances for $10.

I did see the show. I enjoyed it. Elvis Costello was fun and sang a couple of really good tunes. The girl who was slated to replace Garrison was funny, though she seemed to suffer from stage fright.
One interesting thing to me–we ran into a guy going in who said he was a HUGE fan of Glen Beck. I would not have thought the two fandoms overlapped to any great extent.
