Not sure where to put this, so mods can feel free to move. Put any sort of prayer-personal or formal- and of whatever religion, sect, denomination, and cult in here. The Lord’s Prayer: Our Father in heaven, ``` hallowed be your name, your kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as in heaven. Give us today our daily bread. Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us. Save us from the time of trial and deliver us from evil. ``` Amen. ---

That’s not prayer; no one can “communicate with a deity” since they don’t exist, and more importantly for this, don’t respond. All you can do is talk and pretend something is listening. ---

Also, I’d like to add that I find the “modern English” versions of the Lord’s Prayer to be aesthetically displeasing.
