For what it’s worth, I went and had a look at the group page, and I’d guesstimate based on the wall posts that a third of the people who joined the group did so just so they could register their opposition (and presumably quit the group immediately afterwards). The vitriol was pretty high when he had Hilary trying to change healthcare. Then it died down after that went away cause the economy was doing good. ---

Many of the people–the “Christian” people–that **I** know, who don’t like Obama, are indeed somewhat racist (and occasionally, more than “somewhat”!). I know this because I grew up with them. Some are family. Some are lifelong friends. (I’m from rural Tennessee, so sadly, you can’t really avoid having racist friends and family, growing up in the specific region, that I did.) And a few of them aren’t even ashamed or secretive about their racism. It is to these people that I’m referring. ---
