Happy Easter - may \*chocolate eggs rain upon you like the weather in England upon an exceedingly bad & rainy saturday afternoon ) and may Easter/bank holiday blessings of all religions & choclicity be upon you all. \*\*May the Easter Bunny leave lots of eggs in your garden, and may you find them all (and not leave any to be found six months later, when the dog gets sick). Yes, I know that this is early but I’m going away for Easter on Thursday & won’t be back till Monday, so I wanted to get my Easter wishes in before I go. Hugs to Una (of course ;)), Odie, Scotti, dpr & Nym (may your snarks never boojums), DW & Mauvaise, Shayna & Spiny, the Eurotrash in general, and I’d better go before it sounds like an Oscar acceptance speech… So general daft wishes like mine above, or hellos to each other, or general chocolatey insanity may commence… - for those of you on diets…may non-fattening but still exceedingly tasty chocolate eggs rain upon you… \*\* courtesy of MsRobyn ---

I just love holidays that center around chocolate (which would explain why Halloween is my favourite). ---

_hugs everyone on the list AND anyone else who wanders in and reads this_ I hope you all have a great break and have the opportunity to catch up wiuth loved ones. I wish for all the very best in whichever sense this holiday means to you personally. I would especially like to extend my best wishes to all the couples getting together for the first time, especially dpr and Nym and I would also like to pass on my best wishes to **fierra** and **Una** , **Snorm** and **Shayna** , **DW** and **Mauv**. Happy Easter! I celebrate the birth, death and resurrection of my Lord. I also celebrate the wonderful friendships I have made on this wonderful board. I celebrate SPRING! (Even tho I, personally, prefer fall) And I celebrate the love that many have found here…and I rejoice in your love. I hug you all, and send you (virtual, wish it could be IRL) warm fuzzy hugs and Easter Baskets. May you all have love, and laughter, and wisdom and peace! Happy holidays to all! I’m glad this thread is here because it gives me a place to post this and starting new threads makes me nervous so here goes: **Dyed Easter Eggs, the lazy way.** Hardboil a bunch of eggs in a stainless steel pot. Drain the water out when done but keep the eggs in the pot. Take food coloring and squeeze drops onto the hot eggs. Don’t worry if it looks like the drops are not soaking in (they are). Start with yellow and then do the other colors. Channel Jackson Pollack. Let them sit for a few minutes then rinse with lots of cold water. The eggs come out wonderfully multicolored, generally not too intense until you open them up. No messy cups, cleanup is a breeze, and each egg is different. Again, Happy Easter and pass the salt.
