Did you get pre or post exposure treatment? By son got post-exposure treatment, and he could barely walk after the first injection into his leg. (Probably the gamma globulin.)

I just checked with my son. He says the immunoglobulin hurt, but the vaccine was not noteworthy. He also says that his roommate’s immunoglobulin was also not noteworthy. Because she weighs a lot less than he does, they gave her a smaller dose than they gave him, as it’s based on weight. Also, hers was administered to her shoulder. He got two huge injections in his thigh.
