I’m saying that some people are misunderstanding the speech and reasons for it, which is a legitimate comment. I am not the only one saying that. If Gore would come out just as he is, with relaxed demeanor, beard and paunch, no mascara or stuffed crotch, I’d be sympathetic. If he’d say something sensible on top of that he’d might even become my candidate. Well, some things you can only wish for. ---
