I really doubt that they’re rewriting the whole series to keep it set in one small town. But I suspect they are padding out a bunch of the sequences in the comic to fill more air time. If they followed the comic’s pacing, that town would be obliterated before the second commercial break. I’m guessing instead we’re going to get a couple of episodes set there before he starts moving on. Plus, there’s a scene in the trailer of Cassidy glassing some guy on an airplane. I’m guessing that jet isn’t just circling a shithole town in the middle of Nowhere, Texas, so they’re probably going _somewhere_. “I heard you used to do stuff before you were a preacher,” most likely refers to Jesse’s pre-collar days as a car thief, horse rustler, and general violent ne’er-do-well. Also, [Rufus Sewell](http://ia.media-imdb.com/images/M/MV5BMTc1NDI2MzIwMF5BMl5BanBnXkFtZTcwNTIyNTY0Mg@@._V1_SX640_SY720_.jpg) should have been cast as Jesse. ---

Am I misremembering that story? I thought he stole them from that fat French guy who wanted to eat them. Or was it the French guy who was stealing them, and Jesse stopped him? ---
