Sarah Palin could be in a severe car wreck this afternoon, with her bloodied and mangled body in intensive care, and there would be people crying, “Republican cover up! That’s not her, that’s a body double like what John Travolta did in _Swordfish_! Cover up, cover up, OMG, cover up!!!11!11!!1” ---

My point is that anyone who seriously suggests that Palin won’t be at the debate tonight is retarded. ---

My major run-in with **Shodan** , a few years ago, was exactly the same thing, except even dumber. He accused me of misrepresenting someone else’s words, despite the fact that I labeled my words as a biased paraphrase. He followed me around the boards sniping at me with this accusation in multiple threads. He supported his accusation by using quote marks around my words–except that they weren’t my words, but were, rather, an inaccurate paraphrase of what I’d said. It was pretty damn funny. Good to see he’s up to his old tricks. As I posted before in post 100, if you parse what he says, he seems simultaneously aware and unaware of his own foolishness. Daniel ---

Did anybody happen to hear the following line from Bay Buchanan in response to James Carville on Anderson Cooper last night? (It’s not namedropping if you’re just quoting a TV show is it?) If I weren’t tired I’d give it it’s own pit thread.
