Wonderful. It’s going to be the end of the TokyoBayer household, and the world’s media is concentrating on the _tourist_ industry.
It’s all over the Chinese language media, including Taiwan. Some of my wife’s friends are really concerned.
It’s supposed to happen tomorrow, some say at 4:00 am, local time. (Friday July 4th, 5:00 pm)

Apparently it has been revised to be an asteroid impact.

I’m sure I was alive for that event. And as I play a practicing geography talking-type-guy on TV, that “major crack” would be catastrophic to the entire pacific. Of some interest to the rest of the world. Page 3 of the old gray lady.

Damn, another boring day here. No earthquakes, asteroids, Godzilla, or other calamities.
I guess I’ll have to do the housework anyway. I have been letting it go, assuming it wouldn’t matter.
And I guess I have to change my underwear, too.

I see that this same author is credited with predicting the 2011 earthquake/tsunami but I don’t see any cites of her exact prediction for that.
Fortunately, regarding the 2025 prediction [she has offered us some hope](https://time.com/7300133/japan-manga-earthquake-panic/):

The Sankei article linked above offers us this:
> she has corrected her course by saying that the specific date “July 5th” is “not the day something will happen.” She also commented to the Sankei Shimbun, saying, “The high interest is proof that disaster prevention awareness is on the rise.”
That’s a relief. Something, somewhere will happen on July 5, or another day or year. Maybe.
Now, this might not be “iron-clad” but certainly it’s more than enough evidence for folks to prudently cancel trips to Japan costing several thousand dollars.

Where is this Manga actually written, ilustrated and printed?
It may be a time zone issue were dealing with.
Clairvoyant types are not good with that stuff.
I know this because of popular culture, Star Trek, and Back to the Future and Nostradamus(no, I never read his Quatrains, just watched a bad movie hosted by Orson Welles.)
