From watching the preview for this movie I predict the woman ends up with the rich jerk not the quirky poor country guy.

Although I have no intention of seeing it, that would be a welcome change of pace.

I was actually in Charleston, S.C. during the filming. They converted the front of the hotel we were staying in to a movie theater facade. We also watched them shooting some scenes in downtown. One involved a bus going up and down the street.

As it happens, I saw a preview of the movie a couple weeks ago, and

You can wait to see it yourself and learn how it ends.

The four main stars were Ryan Gosling, Rachel McAdams, James Garner and Gena Rowlands. Rachel McAdams was a revelation! She’s a wonderful actress and a living breath of fresh air. I liked her in _Mean Girls_ but I fell in love with her in _The Notebook._
