# Prefab Sprout

Hey guys, just curious if there were any other dopers that were into this band?  
I discovered them last winter and was blown away by the music.  
Definitely one of my favorite bands to come out of the 80’s.

I bought one of their albums back then. Loved the sound. I don’t have it anymore and the name of it slips my mind, but one of the songs was Jordan (The Comeback) I do believe.

I’ve only listened to Steve McQueen (the album). Incredibly sweet beats and melodies… It’ll have you humming and singing along in no time.

One of the best sophistipop bands, hands down. Although not all similar-sounding, when in the mood, I have Prefab Sprout, Swing Out Sister and Deacon Blue on heavy rotation.

Steve McQueen (aka Two Wheels Good) is one of the best albums of the 80’s. Thomas Dolby’s production work is amazing- the atmospheric sound is chilling. And “Bonny” and “Apetite” are two killer, perfect tracks.
