I respect them more. Well, Elvis never wrote any of his songs and he’s a legend. Why the 180 towards Britney? (I don’t mean you personally **sturmhauke** , I just mean people in general.) And I agree with the whole “lacks talent in songwritting” part. But jeez! the lady’s just working with what she’s got. ---

I think the fact she’s become a role model for young girls is what scares people the most. When you’re a celebrity, some people believe you have a certain responsibility to behave in a conservative fashion. ---

I don’t care for Elvis, but he could sing and play guitar. Shortly before Britney made it big, I heard some of her songs at a record store. I thought, “Man, this is shit, no one’s gonna buy this.” I guess I severly underestimated the power of shaking the T&A. ---

I hate celebrity-centered tabloids. I could care less if Brittney breeds or not, give me Batboy and Dear Dotti. Although I’ve noticed lately even the Weekly World News has been slipping in celebrity stories, like just last week there was an article on how Yoda is getting ready to replace Tom Ridge as whatever-the-hell-Tom-Ridge-is because Bush thinks Yoda is a bigger badass and, besides, “Yoda has no neck like Tom Ridge.” I don’t _care_. Tell me more about the Bermuda Toilet and stuff the celebrity schlock! ---
