# pregnant

how many days a month can a women theoretically get pregnant ? :smack:

Pretty much all of them. While pregnancy is most likely to occur during ovulation, it’s quite possible to get pregnant at any time of the month, even (rarely) during menstruation.

Hmm… really??

I’ve heard that complicating the situation, it’s possible for the girl to ‘get pregnant’ several days after sex actually took place… something about sperm staying alive that long in her system?? Is that on the level? :eek:

i recently had a stupid little scare with my girlfriend and did some research on how long sperm can last in a woman’s body. it turns that it can last up to five days so under the worst or best circumstances a girl can get pregnant five days after she had sex. pretty damn scary huh
