What better way to celebrate that patriotism than to be all jingoistic about your team making it to the elimination rounds of the World Cup Finals???

If it had been the All-Star game for Major League Baseball that day, you can bet what the TVs would have been showing. 😛

But it wasn’t.

The merkins being stubborn as a mule just refuse to stop playing rounders and adopt soccer like the rest of the civilised world
