My favorite songs for driving the backcountry dirt roads where I worked last summer were CCR’s “Bad Moon Rising” and “Up Around the Bend”. ---

Some excellent tunes mentioned so far. I’ll add one of the classic drivin’ pop tunes of all time: **"Driver’s Seat,"** by **Sniff and the Tears**. Also quite partial to **Gary Numan’s** somewhat detached **“Cars”**. One last fave: **Matthew Sweet’s** kickass **“Girlfriend”**. ---

Well golden earring’s Radar Love is good, there are a lot more GE tunes that go with driving just as well. others though include: Moley Crue’s Kickstart my Heart Motorhead, hell just about anything by them Iron Maiden’s From here to Eternity Manowar’s Return of the Warlord AC/DC’s Highway to Hell, Hells Bells Judas Priest’s headin’ out on the highway I’ve got a load more too but it take to long to list em. ---
