Let’s see–you murder a young woman, you blame it on her love of “rough sex,” you cop a plea and only serve 15 years, and you still can’t keep your nose clean. I hadn’t heard about the party/doll incident before this story in the NYTimes.

That was ALL over the news when it surfaced here in NY. Didn’t prove he killed Jennifer on purpose but it sure showed him to be a major dick.

Wow I’m happy to hear that he was arrested. I was fascinated with this case for a long time. I went to the bar in NYC where they were before going to the park on one of my self created crime tours. Oh murder is so fascinating.

Now, now, **NurseCarmen** , **lobstermobster** isn’t a sociopath. (thinking) Well, maybe sorta, but in a funny way. Lots of fairly normal people go on murder tours. I’ve been thinking of putting one togeter, myself. 😉

I’ve been on a Jack the Ripper walking tour, but at least the women and any immediate family and friends had looooooong since passed on - and Jack wasn’t giving the tour!

Can’t we put this guy into jail for life, just for being a complete and total pogrocket? Please?
Yes, I know that’s a bad idea in general. But I’d love to make an exception for him, even so.
And, **samclem** , another vote for that tape being all over the media when it came out, and ISTR it was even introduced into evidence in the trial, to counter Chamber’s credibility on the witness stand.

Yeah, that has been one of the things that have been preventing me starting up one of my own. Chicago has had many notorious murders, but it’s one thing to show where Dr HH Holmes had his “murder castle” and a bit different to take gawkers to John Gacy’s house site.

how is it different? everyone has their favorite criminals. Well not so much favorite as the ones they are most fascinated with. If I’m as fascinated with crime and the media and the psychology of crime then other people are too. We want to gawk! I’m considering trying to go to meet richard ramirez before they kill him if they ever do.
