Nobody else cares about your problems the way that you do. Everyone else has their own problems that they care about first. And that’s true even if your problems are objectively bigger than theirs. You obviously want to socialize with other people or you wouldn’t be posting here and elsewhere like you do. So now you have to ask yourself why other people should want to socialize with you. They’re under no obligation to socialize with you just because it’s something you want. You have to figure out a way to give as much as you receive. ---

Or take the Howard Hughes route and design something, design, design, design, build, build, build. Take that energy and emotion and channel it into something and you _will_ get the things you want out of life eventually. You may get banned from this board. If there’s ONE THING you take from it before that happens, it’s this!! I remember what it was like to be an angsty teenager.
