Looking at the news it appears that via telephone calls, all off the delegates have pledged to support Harris, at least in Tennessee and North Carolina. I think they want to be able to have the virtual nomination before August 7 to ensure the Ohio ballot. Meanwhile, fundraising now more than $47 million in past 8 hours. ---

Yes, they are not going to vote Trump in any meaningful way, they are just not going to vote. I’ve gone into the reasons why before but I’ll try to do a quick summary here. Basically, a decent amount of Black people under about 50 (I’m 52 so older and see it differently) feel that the Democrats have not done enough even though Black people are kind of the base. Some specific issues are a hate crime bill, repreparations and yes immigration. So they are thinking it doesn’t really matter for whom or even if they vote and that things won’t really change, no better no worse, for them under Trump and maga. It’s kind of shortsighted and I totally disagree but this is where we are, and the polls are showing this. It’s not me saying it’s true. ---
