# President Chavez Boots Out U.S. Ambassador

I saw a small news item from AP that says that President Hugo Chavez is giving the U.S. Ambassador 72 hours to leave Venezuela.

Is this just business as usual or is this the first act in an escalating series of events?

Could this be President Chavez’s reaction to the attmpted coup he claims he discovered against him?
