So nobody gets a place in the debates unless **they** agree, you see where this is going? Perot was too big a deal for them to exclude, apparently, but Nader never was. I think debates have gone downhill since the parties took them over. Carter was good at boycotting things. Between the Olympics and the debate. Carter started to look a bit petulant. ---

Y’know, I could see some real value in a stay-at-home mom housemaker from a blue-collar background running. But there’s a big difference between actually _being_ a blue-collar housemaker and playing one on TV. ---

If a rational person watches TV and can’t tell if he is watching a presidential campaign or an episode of Celebrity Apprentice, is there a name for that? Celebrity Turing test maybe? ---
