Presidental nepotism

I’d argue Hillary can’t be counted in the Arkansas column. She now lives in New York. She has as much claim to Arkansas as she does to Illinois: none anymore.

John Edwards is from North Carolina.

The list of related presidents also includes William Henry Harrison (one month in 1841) and his grandson Benjamin Harrison (1889-93).

Well, he does have vice-presidential experience, but he died almost 200 years ago.

That George Clinton was from New York, which produced the Hamilton Fish dynasty of U.S. Representatives. The original Hamilton Fish served from 1843 to '45, and was eventually followed by a son, grandson, and great-grandson. Great-great-grandson Hamilton Fish V has lost two bids for the House, but is in his mid-fifties, and thus still has time to extend the streak to five generations.
