This is a bipartisan two-part question. My friend and I were watching the halftime show and remembering the wardrobe malfunction from last year. First question: if Ronald Reagan were still alive and physically able to perform something at the halftime show and his genitalia were exposed, would he get in trouble? Since he had Alzheimer’s and was a former President, would any legal action be taken? Second part. If someone mentally and morally depraved went to Reagan’s Presidential Library and molested his corpse, would they get in more trouble than if they just disturbed the body of a “regular” dead person? Thanks. ---

Remember that old SNL episode with Heather Locklear and Dennis Spade. HL was a TV host on some fundraising/sales program, and kept making random disparaging remarks about different ethnic groups. These stoners (DS) called in and said “Hey, my buddy and I are really stoned, and I would have sworn you just said the holocaust didn’t happen. He doesn’t believe me.” Your post reminds me of that 😃 All in good fun. I think the fact the Reagan is dead would preclude him from participating in any sporting-event related flashing incidents. ---

As for the molesting a corpse business, there’s a bit of a historical precident for that. Some folks tried to break into Lincoln’s tomb so they could steal his corpse and hold it hostage until the authorities agreed to release one of their partners from prison. They got caught in the act because one of the members of the group had second thoughts and tipped off the authorities to what was going to happen. Don’t know what their punishment was, but it shouldn’t be too hard to track down. ---

This is, hands down, the _strangest Ghoddamn thing_ that I’ve ever read on the SDMB, that didn’t involve drugs, or refer to psychic abilities. Shouldn’t **DuhCow** get some sort of prize for that? 😕 ---

I think Zombie Reagan waving his presidential paraphernalia at halftime would definitely warrant at least a fine, although I don’t know who would be responsible for paying it - his estate? Nancy? As for necropresidential love, in California you’re pretty much (heh) screwed. I don’t know if the feds would get involved, but if they did I bet it would certainly not be any better for you. And you’d definitely get a whole lot of publicity. There would definitely be a whole snopes page devoted to you. But this spawns a whole new question: Would you then be forced to register as a sex offender? ---
