I got a dozen roses from my boyfriend for Valentines, and I really like them and I want to save them…Anyone have suggestions for what to do?

Before they’re really really dead, hang them upside-down over a heat vent. They should dry nicely there.

After they’re dried, spray them thoroughly with the stickiest hair spray you have, this will help keep them whole. Overall lifespan is still not long, though, as they are pretty fragile. However, if you do this, once they begin to fall apart anyways, you should be able to peel off the petals. Add a few drops of your favorite scented oil and you have potpourri.
