# Pretending to be someone you're not

There is a poster here who seems, if I understand them, to be claiming to be a lawyer, and one from a prestiguous law school at that. However, subsequent posts have cast considerable doubt upon that claim.

Is that sort of thing permitted?

Certainly when I was reading law at Oxford we would never have stood for such a thing.

I’m closing this OP.  
Take it to the PIt. Lay out your case.

As one of my favorite sigs on this board says,
