# Pretty Songs (again)

You may, or may not believe this, but the cutest, most mellow and up-and-happy songs I’v ever heard is Alice Cooper’s “The Song That Didn’t Rhyme”. It’s like sesame street with maple syroup on top.
Another of my favourites is John Lennon’s “Oh My Love” and Beth Gibbon’s and the Rustin Man’s “Mysteries”. Check them out. They’re the sort that make you all mushy inside. 🙂

ooh! ooh! _waves hand frantically_
two from Led Zeppelin: “Ten Years Gone” (this one is almost literal musical beauty, for me) and “The Rain Song” (kinda sad-sounding, but gorgeous)
Sade: “No Ordinary Love” (mmmm, beauty-sex)
The Ink Spots: “Maybe” (the opening song from the PC game Fallout… smooth)
and lately I’ve this strange fascination with Incubus’s “Aqueous Transmission”. Gets me all gooey. =P

OK, I am done.
I got the Blind Boys of Alabama’s _Amazing Grace_ (a very nice, if nonstandard version).
I also scored **half** of the _Liverpool Oratrio_, it is a two-disc set and iTunes only seems to have Disc One.
Grumble!
