So you thought that eating french fries and potato chips could just cause weight gain and heart disease?

Apparently, they may also cause cancer due to a substance called acrylamide, which is formed when foods are deep fried.

I do not know if this is depressing or amusing. I want to ask them if they found the same amounts of this in baked french fries.  
And how many carbohydrated based foods this substance was found in, and the recipes used for thier test foods.
