Today I was introduced to a new product: Keebler Town House pretzel crackers, aka [Flipsides](http://www.keebler.com/new-products.html). Now I’m not one to get unduly excited about the latest carbohydrate cheese platform variant, but damn, these things are tasty! Especially with some cheddar-horseradish cheese spread! All the savoryness of the Town House cracker, with a very mouth-satisfying crispness! Okay, I’m reaching. But it’s a stressful day at work, and any distraction in a storm… 🆒 ---

I tried the cheddar flavor. They were reasonably tasty, but not so wonderful that I had to rush out and buy more. Perhaps if I’d eaten them with cheese spread rather than by the handful as a snack I’d have been more keen. Or perhaps not–I’m not that much of a pretzel fan. ---

I find them amazingly tasty, but, for some reason there’s something in them that makes me ill about an hour after eating them. I have no idea what it is; nothing on the packaging is anything I know I’m intollerant to… But they are very tasty, and thus, I brave the post-cracker queasyness. ---

We do have spreadable cheeses - I guess a bunch of them (we’re usually Kraft Singles type people though which is on the other side of Dominick’s from the good stuff) so I’ll look for it. I had some of those while I was staying with a friend in Chicago and they are good. I could easily have eaten the whole box. Even his son, the world’s pickiest eater, liked them. I have deliberately _not_ checked to see if the stores here carry them because I don’t need another addiction to keep me off my diet. I’m also not going to check for spreadable cheeses. ☹ ---

Nummy crackers – the plain ones, anyway, I haven’t tried the cheese flavor. I ate them with sliced sharp cheddar on top. Dee-licious. My husband ate them with pepper jack and elk salami and he said they were better than delicious. ---

Why is it that flattened pretzels are so much better than regular ones? They truly are, but I’m not sure why. ---

OK, I bought a box of these today solely on the basis of this thread. My family’s verdict: These things are like crack. We must never, ever buy them again. I can’t tell you how glad I am that I resisted the temptation to buy a container of smoked salmon cream cheese to go with them. They are addictive enough just nekid.
