The scene where they start out dancing in a crowded room and then they’re dancing all alone - I’m trying to find it; I thought it was a classical piece, but some of the stuff I found suggests it was written for the movie?

it’s Henry Purcell’s _Rondeau from Abdelazer._ You can hear it here:

[![](https://img.youtube.com/vi/VVivtti-n-w/maxresdefault.jpg "Henry Purcell: Rondeau from Abdelazer (Z570), Voices of Music; performed on original instruments 4K") ](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VVivtti-n-w)

It may have been arranged by Marianelli, but it was written by Purcell.

Well, that explains why it sounded so familiar when I watched the movie. Are IMDb credits usually this… vague?

God damn it, I actually knew this! It’s one of my favorite scenes.
