I’m wondering if there isn’t more to the story, given that the details are still breaking. So Preibus is being fired as Chief of Staff. Is there going to be a real replacement or is there just some kind of lateral move without the official change of title? ---

It will be interesting to see how long Kelly lasts. He knows little of Washington, and is likely used to barking orders and having them followed. I could imagine him grabbing the Mooch by the throat and pinning him up against the wall if he pisses Kelly off. ---

It’s been clear for a while that Trump only wants top-down autocratic types in the White House - either generals, CEOs, and powerful people who are crooked. Wouldn’t surprise me if he pardoned Bernie Madoff and made him Treasurer. ---
