Not being British, I’m not concerned with the official royal stuff; I’m saddened that a woman I admire has lost her husband of 74 years. Whatever you think about the Queen, the woman Elizabeth Windsor has just had a blow, and I am sorry for her. ---

Very sad for QEII. I think she’s the most fascinating woman. Knowing the man for 81 years. How can you know anyone for 81 years?! Incredible. So who is the new Duke of Edinburgh? Does that go to Charles? ---

Prince Philip was an interesting fellow with strong views on lots of things (sometimes inartfully expressed) who devoted his life to his Queen and Country. May he rest in peace. ---

I understand Charles is already Duke of Rothesay (also a Scottish title) so do we assume he won’t use the Edinburgh title? ---
