When last we saw the Escapingest Inmates in All The Land, they were dashing across an open field pursued by every law enforcement agent in Illinois, plus Choppy the One-Handed Child Molester who somehow managed to avoid bleeding out in twelve seconds following his involuntary amputation. Meanwhile, the World’s Worst Defense Lawyer had against all belief based on every scrap of her previous conduct and lack of display of skill tracked down the [del]Vice-President’s[/del] President’s skeevy brother in Wyoming or wherever and the [del]Vice-President[/del] President was just pure evil.
This season, the escapees try to blend into society and remember not to stab people with forks for looking funny at their deserts, while fresh from his turn as the freaky sheriff on the late lamented _Invasion_ William Fichtner joins the cast as the (presumbaly) creepy convict-track-downer-guy (bounty hunter? US Marshall? We dunno yet). I am so there.

_So. Freaking. **EXCITED**!_ One, because – Wentworth Miller. And two, because _whoooooooooooo!_ I lurve this show, and I’m glad it’s back. I’m glad all my shows are coming back, and I look forward to the new additions to my TiVo Season Pass List. That this one is the first on the list makes it my new favorite. Anyway … topic, yes. I think William Fichtner is an excellent new addition. Hooray escapees!

I have left the porch light on every night, hoping that Michael (Wentworth Miller) would show up in the dead of night and need a sponge bath. So far, nuthin.
Yes, the show is silly - their wounds heal faster than it takes to make a three minute egg and Michael’s tattoo seems to contain more info than the Smithsonian archives, but I disagree with the assessment of the President - she seems every bit as qualified, intelligent and moral as our current White House inhabitant.
So, any bets on if they all stay free and on the run the entire season, or will they be rounded up, one-by-one, and sent back to the slammer for season 3?

Any word on why they are making this show the first out of the gate for the new season? Most shows are not starting up again until mid to late Septemeber. Not that I mind too much.
I am super excited for this. I like the idea of them having to separate and we see them one by one sent back to Fox River. If memory serves they are planning on doing three seasons now. So this one will be them on the run and then ending back in prison with season 3 them planning another break out.

It starting early because baseball playoffs will preempt normal Monday programming come October. In order to fit Prison Break, Vanished, and come January 24, into a single night all season long, they need to start early to shoehorn everything in. Prison Break started at the end of August last year too, I was surprised that it managed to find an audience.

make me nervous. The best part of the show has been the (ridiculously) complex escape plan, and the worst part has been the conspiracy stuff. Things already felt a bit stretched in the first season, but I thought one season for the break out, and another for catching the conspirators was about right.
I’m really interested to see how they deal with C-note and Sucre, and their plans to break out to get back to their families. It just doesn’t seem like C-Note and Sucre have thought it through :).

I think that may be why it found an audience. It got a head start at a time when everything else was reruns and reality shows (all right, Wenty’s pretty eyes may have helped). I’m also encouraged by the fact that the show’s creators are considering ending it at the end of the second season, whatever the ratings. I love closure.
Tonight’s episode was great, right on track. Love the new smart cop.

OK, so far so good for season two. Angst and pathos, check (Doctor O.D. Freely is still alive! Yay!). Ridiculous line readings somehow made to work by Wentworth Miller’s sexy rasp, check (“Oswego” never sounded so hot). Credulity stretched to the snapping point, check (T-Bag has his hand re-attached by a _vet?!_ With no _drugs?!_). Blatantly obvious misdirection exploited for phony dramatic effect, check (come on, did the writers expect anyone to believe the te Fox River Eight were in the storage facility?). Yes, Brison Break is back and I am well pleased.

My husband and I just had this conversation on the way into work. His guess is that somewhere around Episode Four or Five – just before the baseball playoffs – we’ll see the first “wrong” piece of information from the tattoo. Our big debate was, is it going to be something deliberately false in the tattoo, or will Mr. Creepy Invasion FBI Man interpret something wrong?
BTW – love Bill Fichtner in this part. Although, when did he change his name to Bill? I’m pretty sure he was “William” for Invasion.

I only got into this show about six weeks ago, when I was channel surfing and saw Wentworth Miller–DAMN that is one fine guy there.
I love this episode. It’s very hard to do a show that requires such a suspension of reality realistically. But Prison Break pulls it off amazingly.

Highlights of the show for me:
1. Dr. Tancredi’s alive! Yay! I wanna play doctor with her.
2. Veronica’s dead! Yay!
3. I’m liking the new agent - he’ll be a good foil for Scofield.
4. Nice scenes with Choppy the Child Molester.
Disappointments:
1. No Kellerman, the magnificent bastard. Although I’m hopeful we’ll be seeing him around.
2. We probably won’t see much of Pope this season.
3. No Haywire, or Tweener, although we’ll probably see them later.
