In the Pit, looks like almost 2300 posts in [this thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=524753).  
You can sort by replies; in all the forums (fora?) it’s [a WoW thread](http://boards.straightdope.com/sdmb/showthread.php?t=509115) at over 12K.

ETA: I love how the OP in that WoW thread is complaining over the unwieldy length of the previous thread.

Currently two threads down from that is the Stupid Republican Idea of the Day thread, with 46 pages and nearly 2300 posts.

Haven’t read either one myself.
