# Problem with my new LG VX8300 phone... constant beep while charging?

I got a new phone a couple of weeks ago (free with Verizon’s “New every two” plan–yay!) and I have two chargers for it. The one I use upstairs I have no problem with. But the one I use downstairs causes the phone to do a double beep every three seconds THE WHOLE TIME IT IS CHARGING. Does anyone know what the heck is going on or how I can make it stop? Putting it into silent mode doesn’t help.

The answer you received there (below) is likely correct. Most replacement AC chargers for popular phones can be had from Walmart for $ 10 - 15 or so vs the 30 the phone stores want

I got the charger (along with a usb cable and a car charger) for $4.99 on ebay 😃
