I have a Sony digital camera that can record little .mpg video files. I’m trying to import them into iMovie to play around with, but I’m having a problem with the sound. First, iMovie won’t import the native .mpg file, so I’m exporting them from Quicktime as a .mov file. But it isn’t exporting the sound along with the video. And the thing is happening when I try to import any other movie type into iMovie, the video shows up fine but there’s no sound. What am I missing (other than expensive video-editing software)?
